YardGuardian Terms Of Use

By downloading or using YardGuardian, users agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement for apps made available through the App Store:

If any part of these terms conflicts with Apple's Standard EULA, Apple's Standard EULA applies to the extent required by Apple.
App Purpose
YardGuardian helps users create landscape and garden design concepts from yard photos, project instructions, ZIP-code climate context, plant information, and design preferences.
The app provides planning ideas and educational guidance. It does not provide professional landscape architecture, engineering, construction, grading, drainage, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, legal, safety, or permitting services.
User Photos And Content
Users keep ownership of the photos, instructions, and project content they upload or create in YardGuardian.
By using the app, users give YardGuardian permission to process selected photos and project inputs only as needed to provide app functionality, such as AI design previews, saved projects, revisions, exports, support, troubleshooting, and app improvement.
Users must have the right to upload any photo or content they provide to the app.
AI-Generated Results
YardGuardian uses AI to generate design concepts, planning notes, plant guidance, and related outputs. AI results may be inaccurate, incomplete, unrealistic, or unsuitable for a specific property.
Users are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them. Before starting work, users should verify measurements, property lines, drainage, grading, utility locations, soil conditions, sun exposure, local codes, HOA rules, plant availability, mature plant size, safety requirements, and installation details.
Purchases, Subscriptions, And Available Designs
YardGuardian may offer free previews, one-time design bundles, and auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's in-app purchase system.
Before purchase, the app should clearly show:
What the user receives
The price
The billing period for subscriptions
Whether the subscription renews automatically
When a generated design uses one of the user's available designs
Any limits that apply
How to cancel or manage the subscription through the user's Apple Account
Subscription purchases renew automatically unless canceled according to Apple's App Store subscription rules. Users can manage or cancel subscriptions in their Apple account settings.
Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple according to Apple's App Store policies. YardGuardian may help troubleshoot subscription access, restore purchases, or available-design issues, but Apple controls App Store billing and refund approval.
Available designs, previews, or paid features may be used only inside YardGuardian unless the app clearly states otherwise. YardGuardian does not use an available design unless a usable generated design image is produced.
Acceptable Use
Users agree not to:
Upload photos or content they do not have permission to use
Upload sensitive personal information that is not needed for landscape design
Use the app for unlawful, unsafe, misleading, abusive, or infringing purposes
Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or misuse the app or backend services
Use generated content in a way that violates another person's rights or applicable law
No Professional Advice
YardGuardian is a planning and visualization tool. It is not a substitute for qualified professionals. Users should consult appropriate professionals before installing plants, grading, retaining walls, patios, pools, play equipment, electrical features, irrigation, drainage, structures, or other improvements.
Availability And Changes
YardGuardian may change, suspend, or discontinue features, models, available-design rules, subscriptions, pricing, or availability where permitted by law and App Store rules.
